Weddings… Weddings… Weddings… What can I say? I love weddings. I love being at someone else’s almost as much as I enjoyed being at mine. It’s such a celebration of love, life, friendship and family and I get to record it all for you. That is one heck of an honor. I am a guy… but I will admit to shedding a few tears at weddings, even those that I don’t really know the couple too well. I get goose bumps when the DJ announces to the reception party the married couple for the first time. I listen… really listen to the speeches and laugh, gasp and cry with the rest of everyone. When I leave, I inevitably always tell the couple “Thank you for letting me shoot your wedding” because I know what I am doing is recording history for what generations to come may look at. Its humbling… It’s awesome… It’s a lot of pressure and I rejoice in it all, every single time.
So you want to know about me? I was born and raised a Navy brat, I have lived and experienced life in many parts of our country and abroad. Studying and absorbing the cultures, art, history and language of our world have shaped me into who I am today and have created the love of photography. Moving around a bit has built an outgoing, charismatic personality that is infectiously invigorating. You certainly can’t make friends being shy and shy I am not. I love my wife and son and in the first three years of my son’s life I have taken almost 15k photos of him (I am proud of that). I love all sorts of music, but like it best live. I love technology and I am a self proclaimed computer geek (ok, ok… my wife is the one that said I am a geek). I embrace technology and the differences in our lives it can make. I love Mexican food… hands down. Not Tex-Mex, but true… Southern California/Mexico food. I hate to write, but love to talk. I am that guy you call at 3am because you are in trouble and need help… doesn’t matter that we haven’t talked in 3 years. I will be there. I thnk there is nothing more important in life than family and friends and strive to have every client, a friend.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
