Intimate Winter Park Ceremony

I have known Troy for about 6 years and was very excited when he told me was engaged. I was even more excited when he asked if I could shoot the ceremony at his house. Close friends and family, cold beer and great food was what this intimate affair was about and I was glad that I got to shoot it for them. I got to put down the camera and relax after the ceremony and just be a guest. So thank you Troy for inviting me and letting be your photographer. Enjoy a few of my favorites…

Winter Park Farmers Market Wedding

Emmalee and Brad got married at the always cool Winter Park Farmer’s Market. The place has so much character… Spending the day with these two was a blast and here are some of my favorites:

Kristin and Anthony: St Peter and Paul Catholic Church & Embassy Suites

The first time I had met Kristin and Anthony was the day of their wedding. They live in Georgia but grew up in Orlando so why not have the celebration back home!! The funniest thing is that Krisitin’s mom, Laurie, called every couple weeks with a change in the plans and to ask if that would have an major impact on me. I, of course, said no worries… So it turned out the latest change was a move to a Catholic Church, St Peter and Paul Catholic in Winter Park. Right before the ceremony, my jaw dropped as I saw that Father Stephen Parks was going to conduct the ceremony. If you have been following my blog, Father Parks married my wife and I and I hadnt seen him in five years. I saw him a few weeks prior to this wedding at Jenny and Jason’s wedding and he recognized me right away. I cant wait to see if my next Catholic wedding will have him….

After the wedding, the bridal part and I headed over to Lake Eola. The fountain in the center of the lake has been broken for sometime and is a HUGE eye soar, but we made due and came out with some great pictures. The rest of the night was spent at the Downtown Orlando Embassy Suites partying like rockstars. What a blast!!

Engagement shoot at Rollins College

Melissa and Chris tell me that they spent a lot of time at Dinky Dock Park so it just made sense to shoot their engagement photos there. Located in between Rollins College, Dinky Dock is a small, quaint park with tons of character. Its a short walk from there to anywhere else on Rollins campus so it was a lot of fun to shoot there and enjoy the awesome weather.

The three of us had a great time and, as usual, Melissa and Chris quickly realized that engagement shoots are laid back, fun and time to get to know each other. I had a great time and I hope you guys enjoy your photos. Here are some of my favorites:

Matt and Kayla’s Wedding

Matt and Kayla got married at the Winter Park Farmer’s market. Outdoor ceremony on nice balmy August day. After the wedding we moved inside and I shot what is probably one of my favorite locations. The building is an old train station and currently is the home to the Farmer’s Market every Saturday morning. There is so much character inside with brick walls, old barn doors and an open ceiling showing the old iron rafters and wood ceiling.
